Your role: Experienced JavaScript Developer Amsterdam
As Experienced JavaScript Developer Amsterdam you will work on one of the multidisciplinary scrum teams, where you and you team will build on of the many very complex Single Page Applications, interlinking to a vast array of other systems. Often where performance is crucial with over 300.000 users on their systems in over 125 countries and 20 languages.
To start working here now is even more interesting than normal as at the moment they are migrating to the MEAN stack, are implementing a totally new visual design, are focusing highly on performance and accessibility and are aligning their best practices accordingly. This means that you can now have a big impact on what this landscape that caters to millions all over the world is going to look like. Talk about an audience!
You will work with specialized visual and UX designers, so can focus on what you do best. Build cool highly performant and responsive software in JavaScript. The main focus of your work will be client side development, although you definitely will get to work with NodeJS.
What is required?
- A minimum of 3 professional years of software development experience (although more is very welcome)
- Excellent OOP experience and comprehension
- Experience with building Single Page Applications
- Experience with working with professional JS frameworks like Angular, Ember, Backbone or React
- A technical Bachelor or Masters degree or demonstrable similar level
- Good English
- Communicative, able to speak with other disciplines (back end, UX, UI designers)
- Experience with eCommerce is a plus
- Experience with REST, MEAN and/or Docker is a big plus
