Your job: Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer Amsterdam
As Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer Amsterdam you will join a very driven multidisciplinary development team that is working hard to continuously develop further their SAAS based core product developed in Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, AWS, Kafka and Kubernetes. Although the bulk of the work is backend related, you will also be able to get your hands dirty working with React! High availability and security are paramount for all systems, so you have your work cut out for you!
As they are continuously moving to new countries and adding new users they need new features and ways to increase performance, while keeping their 100% uptime. They have recently moved to AWS and there is still a lot of architectural decisions that need to be made, while minimizing single points of failure. As the company is scaling up, but still have the world to conquer you can look forward to a fun ride and a continuous stream of interesting product related development work.
As Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer Amsterdam you will help keep coding standards high and add to their already great software engineering culture. As they organization and product keeps on growing, there would also be technical leadership possibilities cut out for you in the future.
What is required?
- A minimum of 5 years of professional years of development experience (experience with kotlin is NOT required)
- Good experience with Kotlin, Java or Scala
- Experience with AWS would be a big plus
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka would be a plus
- Experience with architecture and designing within high availability projects would be a plus
- Experience with delivery automation and automated testing would be a plus
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar would be much appreciated
- Experience with a cloud vendor like AWS, Azure of Google cloud would be great
