Your role: Senior Scala Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Scala Developer Amsterdam you will get to work in one of the core backend teams that builds a geo-distributed platform with a 99,9% uptime. All heavily distributed systems! Due to the vast amount of data processed by the platform, you can look forward to solving the type of problems you don’t easily find anywhere else. Moreover, you will work here in a like-minded team with a huge passion for functional programming!
You are always involved in architectural decisions and can coach less experienced developers. As this is a high-quality product environment you can really build what you are proud of, no killer deadlines just for the sake of it! In your role, there is a lot of room to come up with new ideas, concepts or technologies (even learn Rust on the spot) to help you and your team grow on to the next level.
What is being asked?
- 4+ years of backend software development experience
- In production experience with Scala
- Experience with FP/Typelevel-stack is a big plus
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with cloud like AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
- Experience with Kafka is a plus
