Your Role: Senior Java Developer Utrecht

In your role as a Senior Java Developer in Utrecht, you’ll work in the technical heart of one of the DevOps teams within this unit. Together with your team of tech enthusiasts, you’ll ensure that the software engineering culture is firmly embedded here and throughout the organization. At the same time, you’ll be tackling technically challenging issues. Think of building a secure and highly available FinTech platform within a microservices/cloud environment where millions of euros flow through every day!

Your colleagues are among the brightest minds in the region and are primarily Senior Java Developers. As a Developer, you’ll have plenty of seniority around you to spar with and learn from. Truly, a quality group of tech enthusiasts!

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional Java software Engineer experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Java11+ or Kotlin
  • Experience with Docker and/or Microservices is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus
  • Experience with testing tools like Junit is a plus
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment is a plus
  • Experience with Payments is a significant plus
