Your role: Senior Java Developer Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Java Developer Amsterdam, you will work within a multidisciplinary and agile team and to take this product to the next level. You can think of making the product a lot more scalable and introduce new algorithms (around location based-, time based- and weather based targeting). Lots of new challenges needs to be done here, which means continuous learning and never a dull day!
You will make decisions around the architecture, grow your own team, mentor other colleagues and eventually grow into a Lead Engineer! Furthermore, you will work closely together with the Lead Architect and Development Manager to achieve their ambitious goals. This means a lot to learn, technical deepening and personal growth!

What is required?
- A minimum of 4 years of professional backend development experience
- A completed Beta Bachelor education or higher (or demonstrated similar working experience)
- Solid experience with Java 8 or higher
- Experience with Spring Boot is a plus
- Solid comprehension of data structures and algorithms is a plus
- Experience with cloud like AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a big plus
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus
