Your job: Senior Java Backend Engineer Utrecht
As Senior Java Backend Engineer Utrecht you will be part of the very first engineers hired in the Utrecht office, being able to cherry pick the most interesting challenges to solve as well as helping to build the office and culture further. You will be able to work on challenges related to distributed systems, ML/Auto prediction, Search, and Platform / Heavily used API Development. Due to the scale and innovative nature, you will also get to work on key technology and components, that simply have never been built before. Enough to keep your engineering mind buzzing for years!

What is required?
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Experience designing and building enterprise grade systems from scratch
- Strong computer science fundamental knowledge
- Solid communicator with a pro-active nature and result driven individual
- Experience within a product company
- High quality, clean coding, TDD mindset
- Experience within a modern microservices/ cloud environment
- Completed technical bachelor’s or master’s degree is a plus
- Experience working within a scale-up or start-up is a big plus

- Between €90.000 and 125.000 based on added value and experience
