Your job: Senior Golang Developer Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Golang Developer Amsterdam you will work in one of their elite backend teams tasked to build brand new greenfield heavy load, high availability mission critical backend services that are fundamental for hundreds of millions of end-users. You will join a highly motivated multidisciplinary development team, and have input on the architecture, design, and tech choice.
Things you can bite down on are challenges like building the engine that serves the hundreds of millions of end-users, many connections between the core system and the consumer and enterprise customers and to improve what can be done with AI.
This is a unique opportunity to build a greenfield AI system completely from scratch, on a system that already has 9.000 events per second and over 5 million publications per day! Where the load will quadruple in the near future! And that while keeping the scalability and availability high.

What is required?
- 4+ years of professional experience with backend software development
- Professional experience with Golang
- You thrive within an organization with lots of freedom and autonomy
- Experience in working in highly distributed and scalable environments
- A completed technical Bachelor or Masters education or similar demonstrable level
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with public cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL like Cassandra is a plus
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a big plus
