Your role: Senior DevOps Engineer AWS Amsterdam
As a Senior DevOps Engineer AWS Amsterdam, you are needed to scale up the SAAS platform from millions to hundreds of millions of users within an AWS Cloud environment. As the DevOps team is new and the organization and the user base are growing immensely you can look forward to a high impact role! Helping to cherry-pick new colleagues, setting up and maintaining their AWS environment, making both high and low-level decisions, helping to create and drive the best kickass DevOps culture, choose technologies, methodologies, set-up standards and offer support to some very talented and above all passionate colleagues! What a role!
As the platform is used by over a hundred of thousands of concurrent users all over the planet 99,9% uptime is required. Think of the impact you have, both for the users as well as within the entire organization. You and your team get to pull this off!

What is required?
- Pragmatic approach and mindset
- 4+ years of professional experience in related fields such as software engineering or system engineering
- Solid DevOps professional experience within a challenging AWS environment of scale
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform
- Setting up and automating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with configuration management and tools like Ansible
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such and Terraform
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with setting up and driving DevOps culture is a big plus!
- Experience with Python is a nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes is a nice to have
- Experience with Linux is a nice to have
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus or ELK stack is a nice to have
