Your job: Senior AWS Devops Engineer Amsterdam
As a Senior AWS Devops Engineer Amsterdam you are needed to scale the platform with more than a billion end users. You will have the opportunity to set up and build the infrastructure from scratch within AWS. You also switch between the different development and infrastructure teams, you are involved in the design and architecture of the infrastructure, you get a lot of freedom to come up with solutions, you get the opportunity to work on greenfield projects and you get the space to implement the best technology you choose.
You will work in an international team where you work together in very experienced disturbed teams in The Netherlands and abroad. They have an open and international atmosphere where you can learn a lot from your colleagues. Everyone within the team strives for the optimal result and helps each other to a higher level. You also get a lot of freedom and you determine your own working hours to be as successful as possible.
Working here means working on heavily distributed systems where high availability, high scalability, high availability, heavy resilience infrastructure are all paramount while being able to deploy in over 6 regions! What is required?
- 5+ years of professional experience within IT
- A minimum of 2 years of Devops experience.
- Solid experience in System engineering.
- Experience with AWS, setting up Cloud environments within AWS. Knowledge of Autoscaling, CloudFormation, Load balancers).
- Experience with Linux, experience with managing a Linux environment.
- Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with Python and Go nice to have
- Experience with Security nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes nice to have
