Your Role: Principal Backend Engineer Amsterdam
As a Principal Backend Engineer in Amsterdam, you will help multiple teams of experienced, talented, and seasoned backend engineers to be even more effective. As a bridge between business and technology, you will refine processes and have full ownership of the architecture/design and end result of brand-new projects, with a direct impact on end-users. You will also have the opportunity to be technically leading in the most important API, Node.JS, and Golang Microservices within AWS-Serverless infrastructure.

Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend development experience
- Professional experience with Node.JS & Typescript
- Experience with scalable, distributed Cloud/Microservices architectures
- Experience with architecture/design and technical leadership of development team(s)
- DevOps mindset and comfort with Public Cloud and CI/CD Automation
- Experience with end-to-end delivery
- Proactive problem-solving mindset by asking questions
- Experience with security, cryptography, encryption, and compliance
- A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent demonstrated work level
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Experience with AWS Serverless is a significant plus
- Experience in the Fintech industry is a plus
- Experience in start/scale-up environments is a significant plus
