As a Medior Backend Engineer Amsterdam, you get the unique opportunity to build the foundation of this potential unicorn with a modern stack (including Node.JS, Golang, GCP, and Kubernetes), focusing on scalability, security (encryption), and performance of the platform, so that millions of people worldwide can be helped.
In addition to involvement in architecture/design, you can build core microservices and features. Because technology is seen here as a tool for cool solutions, you can also build it in other languages (e.g. Python) if this is the best solution. Continuous interaction with AI and the medical lab makes your work extra tangible. In addition, as a backend engineer, you are responsible end-to-end, which allows you to boost your Cloud/DevOps skills.

What is being asked?
- 2+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Professional experience with Node.JS or Golang
- Experience with Cloud and Microservices
- A technical bachelor and/or master or a comparable level of thinking
- Experience with AI and Python is pluses
- Experience with scalability and security are pluses
- Experience with GCP is a plus
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Automation, and Kubernetes are a plus
- Experience working within a start/scale-up environment is a big plus
