Your role: Lead Software Architect Utrecht
We are currently looking for a Lead Software Architect who can be the technical mentor, vision, director and inspiration for several development teams in Utrecht. You help define and implement a very challenging roadmap for multiple SAAS / Cloud-based core products / key systems. In your role as (hands-on) Lead Software Architect Utrecht, you will lead and guide the other development leads, provide technical leadership and strong vision and help talented, inspired and experienced software engineers to grow to the next level. You help define / improve architecture, improve scalability and integration and help convince top management of the ideas you and your teams come up with.
You are responsible for inspiration and direction to delivery. You will work with advanced technologies around highly scalable cloud / SaaS systems or work with some of the best technicians on the market, you have a great chance to define your own role! Are you ready for this great journey?
What is asked for?
- Several years of professional Java Software Engineering Experience
- Experience with technical leadership as lead engineer or architect
- Good knowledge of the Amazon web services tools such as S3, EC2, EBS, Lambda and/or Elastic Beanstalk is a plus
- Experience with a Microservices architecture is a plus
- Experience with Docker and / or Spring Boot is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL such as Cassandra and Elasticsearch is a plus
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment is a plus
- Experience with TDD and unit testing
- Experience with the role of Scrum Master is a plus
