Your job: Java Team Lead – Hands On Java Software Architect Amsterdam FinTech
As Java Team Lead – Hands On Java Software Architect Amsterdam FinTech you will work directly with the founders and other architects to help further build the company, while working hands on in the most challenging software projects in Amsterdam. You will act as mentor to the senior and medior java engineers, advise clients, are responsible for architecture, design, delivery and coding standards. You cherry pick the most interesting projects and help to deliver the solution(s). You with furthermore get to help shape the further technical focus and development of the company. Talk about making an impact!
Here you can focus on delivering great solutions as they have huge list of projects, from which you can cherry pick the most interesting projects to run. In this role you will be involved from the very beginning; speaking with the customer, transferring this into requirements and build the solution on projects that last between 6 months and 1 year, based on the best of breed technologies and methodologies. With your leadership experience you will also get to cherry pick the best engineers available and build successful teams.
In projects you will be the technological leader towards customers and your dev team, getting requirements, sparring with them, deciding on architecture, team set up and technology stack. Allowing you to finally really do things in the best way, while also helping your development team be all they can be!
What is required?
- 8+ years of professional (java) software engineering experience
- Experience as lead developer / technical lead or software architect
- Experience within Microservices Architecture
- A strong communicator
- A technical Bachelor or Master’s degree or similar level is preferred
- Experience with NodeJS, Python, Kotlin, Scala or Go is a plus
- Experience with TDD and BDD is a plus
- Experience with Spring Boot, Vert.X, Reactive programming or Event Sourcing are pluses
- Experience with Google Cloud or AWS is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL technology is a plus
- Experience with delivery automation and automated testing is a big plus
What is offered?
- Between € 75.000 and € 85.000 gross per year + 1 to 2 months’ salary as bonus = up to almost € 100.000 per year!
