Your responsibilities: Java Software Engineer Barneveld
As Java Software Engineer Barneveld, you will work in one of the most successful software engineering teams within the company. This team, an elite team of experienced software engineers, is responsible for developing the company’s flagship products. Since this is one of the newest product suites and currently the most successful one, you really can develop something with a great impact on clients like Ferrari.
Due to their success, they can highly invest in new technologies and improving their product suite. All their new products and features are built in the Cloud and this brings some new technical challenges and possibilities for you as experienced Java software engineer. More and more topics like multi tenancy, machine learning and IoT becomes relevant. You will not be responsible for just a small part of the products. You will be involved in development for a wide range of products. From specification, to design, from refactoring and building new features from scratch. As true craftsman, quality is very important for them. So, their delivery pipeline is setup around TDD, continuous integration and delivery and is managed via Scrum.
As an experienced Java software engineer you really can grow big within this company. As a true software engineering company, they understand what drives you most. Developing great product and stay close to the technology! So, this company won’t force you into management if you prefer to keep on developing. That is why you can grow into Principal Software engineer after being Senior.
What is needed?
- A minimum of 1 years professional Java Software Engineering experience
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Science or equivalent training
- Experience with Core Java and/or JEE, preferable 8
- Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with Cloud computing is a big plus
- Experience with microservice and/or Docker is a plus
- Experience with REST, Elasticsearch and/or AWS is a plus
- experience with ActiveMQ is a plus
- Experience with Spark is a plus
- Experience with Machine Learning and IoT is a plus
- Experience with Jenkins, JIRA, Maven and/or Git is a plus
- Good understanding of CI/CD and TDD is a plus
- Good knowledge of design patterns is a plus
