The entire backend becomes a Serverless Cloud solution completely on AWS. The different parts will also be offered as SaaS solutions. People are also looking increasingly critically at how coding standards can be raised and you get the opportunity to do a lot of R&D on new technologies. The goal is to innovate the tech-stack of the organization broadly in the coming period. Of course, new features and products are continuously being developed on the platform. Your role: Java Developer Amsterdam

In your role as Java Developer Amsterdam, you will work in one of the multidisciplinary Scrum teams. You and your team are constantly working to keep innovating the systems. You do this in the microservices landscape. They are currently building everything serverless on AWS. You can also think of developing new features, further automating the delivery and people are busy innovating on the current tech stack. As a Java Developer, you will also help determine which technologies will be used for all new greenfield projects that are coming up. Are you interested in developing full stack? That is also possible here. They work here with both Vue and React.

As you can read, here as a Java Developer you really get the opportunity to go full width. From deep in the backend, to the front-end to native Cloud issues. And all on systems that have millions of users in the Netherlands alone. As an engineer, you can really grow here.

Growth opportunities

As a Java Developer, the organization offers many training opportunities and many technical challenges, which is why you can also grow well in the organization. With multiple Scrum teams, you can grow here in the role of tech lead, software architect or team lead.

What is being asked?

Minimum 3 years of professional Java software development experience
Experience with Java8 or higher is an advantage
Experience with Spring Boot and / or Docker is an advantage
Experience with AWS
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue is an advantage
Experience with Cloud and / or SaaS solutions
Experience with CI/CD and TDD is an advantage

From their site and reviews they looked like very professional recruiters and i was not wrong. In about 2 weeks i had a couple interviews at a variety of big tech companies and got a good offer pretty soon thereafter.They guided, prepared me for the interviews and helped with the final negotiations. I was looking for a role as a senior Scala developer in Amsterdam/Utrecht region.I was specifically looking to apply for one company through CodeGuild, but in the initial interview they also presented me with a couple of other options for companies which would be a good fit for me.They were very friendly, helpful and supportive, without being pushy. There was targeted help with prep for the interviews/assessments which was specific to each company, and they enabled me to give the best account for myself (definitely better than if I'd been preparing on my own).In the end I accepted an offer from one of the companies they presented me with instead of the original company I had in mind.
