Your job: Backend Kotlin Developer Amsterdam
In your role as Backend Kotlin Developer Amsterdam you will get to work in one of the their agile dev teams tasked to design and build greenfield payments systems for any of their long trusted customers.
If you are interested in growing in architecture and system design you have come to the right place! You are always involved from the beginning of each project, while working with one of their many experienced software architects. Some of the technologies they are currently working with: Java11, Vert.X, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Reactive Programming, Non-Blocking, Kafka and Lambda’s.
Good to know: no prior experience with Kotlin is needed, only Java! As a true engineer, Kotlin you can learn here!
Here you can work together with backend, full stack and even hardware specialists, so lots can be learned from each other. All the while being guided by one of their many highly experienced architects that loves mentoring you to follow in his/her footsteps. Here you will be guided to grow into hands-on tech lead, team lead or software architect, where you have the main responsibility in delivering the project. Whatever path you like the most!
What is required?
- A minimum of 4+ years of professional development experience
- Professional experience with java or Kotlin (and the willingness to work with either)
- Passionate about engineering great software
- Experience with architecture and design is highly preferred
- A completed Beta bachelor or master’s degree is highly preferred
- Experience with Reactive programming is a plus
- Experience with Spring Boot and Kafka is a plus
- Experience with building highly secure and/or highly available systems are pluses
