Your role: AWS Cloud Engineer, Rotterdam
As an AWS Cloud Engineer in Rotterdam, you get the opportunity to take full ownership of the further development of the mission-critical AWS platform (fully CI/CD automated and based on IaC/Terraform), on which advanced distributed technologies such as Cassandra, Kafka, and Kubernetes run.
Along with your passionate engineering colleagues, you will tackle issues like how to keep the platform continuously stable, performant, and scalable, as well as solving high-cardinality time-series issues, to name just one of the many challenges ahead. Working here means that no day is the same and you’re always working on non-trivial challenges that really makes you think!

What is needed?
- – 3+ years of professional experience within modern cloud environments
- – Solid experience within mission-critical AWS cloud environments with a distributed data infrastructure
- – Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- – A strong engineering mindset with a passion for working within a product environment
- – Solid experience managing a production stack
- – Solid experience with Unix, shell, and bash
- – Completed Technical MSc or demonstrably comparable work and thinking level
- – Professional experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting Kubernetes is a big plus
- – Experience running NoSQL (Cassandra) and Kafka is a big advantage
