Your job: Medior Frontend Developer Amsterdam
At the moment your new team mates are working very hard to extent the platform to be able to launch in the Unites States, for which a lot still needs to be done in completing the roadmap. You as Medior Frontend Developer Amsterdam will be able to really make an impact. As the architecture still needs to be decides for various key modules, lots of functionalities still need to be developed and as the scale of users will increase dramatically the importance of a rocking UI increases accordingly.
The challenges lie with on the one hand build solid frontend architectures with a heavy JavaScript element, on the other hand pixel-perfect and browser compatibility (CSS heavy) are central themes. The nice thing is that in this team you focus on what you like to focus on. Are you a JavaScript engineer or a pixel-perfect frontend developer? In both cases this can be the job for you!
You will get to work with open & intelligent Master Computer Science graduate level people. A very collaborative multidisciplinary software engineering team with both senior and mediors. The environment consists of a learning opportunity for you as a Medior Frontend Developer Amsterdam and some of markets’ most senior engineers will help you grow to the next level in your career. What is required?
- 2+ years of professional Frontend Development experience
- A Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, multimedia or similar is a plus
- Experience with either JavaScript heavy or CSS heavy/pixel-perfect software development in a high performance environment
- Experience with browser compatibility is a big plus
- Experience with building a user centric UI for a high number of users is a big plus
- Experience with agile software development is a big plus
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery/Deployment is a plus
- Experience with Unit testing and test automation is a plus
- Good communication skills and a social character is a big plus
What is offered?
- Between € 40.000 and € 60.000 gross per year based on 40 hours
