The cool about this company is that they develop both hardware and software for their systems. For the processing of all the terabytes of super important and secure data last year they have set up a brand new development team to drive this further for a global market place. These very experienced development team kind of operates as a scale up within the company and has lots of freedom, flexibility and autonomy.
To help complete their roadmap further and to help improve monitoring and improving/maintaining their CI/CD pipelines we are now looking for a solid senior golang developer with good DevOps experience that would like to join this energetic team. Mid 2019 they were just 2 people but have already grown to 8! This is only the beginning.
Your job: Senior Golang Developer DevOps Amsterdam
As Senior Golang Developer DevOps Amsterdam you will join the very energetic Amsterdam development team and will fill a hybrid role. On the one side you will help to extend their platform, where a lot of new things still have to be completed, so you can still really work creatively. 70% of this job will be development, about 30% DevOps.
30% of your time you will help to improve monitoring and to improve and to maintain the CI/CD pipelines, using Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. This tends to be a pretty complex setup as they deal with big amounts of secure date which can be deployed on GCP, AWS, private data centers and even bare metal! As one of the two DevOps specialist, you will also help to team to improve their overall DevOps knowledge so all can chip in.

What is required?
- 5+ years of professional (backend) software development experience
- Professional experience with Golang
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Bash
- Solid knowledge of how to run on Linux, Networking and TCP/IP
- Open to learning new things
- Technical BSc or MSc is preferred
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying onto or (even better) setting up Kubernetes would be a big plus!
- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL would be a plus
- Experience with cyber security is a plus
