Your role: Senior front end developer Amsterdam
As a Senior front-end developer in Amsterdam you can use your own tech and social skills in a close team to maximize social impact. IT is core business so you don’t have to explain to anyone how important modern tech, best practices or good hardware are. In addition, you can think along and create a workflow to engage hundreds of thousands of users. Because customers and users grow exponentially, new features must be built continuously.
You work together in a small and passionate team where you get a lot of room for making architectural decisions. Daily engineering tasks will be developing innovative features from scratch. Currently they are working with React, but there is always room for new ideas and to develop this further in the future! Supporting react with Typescript is used to develop a solid, interactive and robust platform. The goal is to become the world’s largest platform within their niche! You are responsible for user engagement on a platform where quality tech and performance is most important. To guarantee this quality, there is the possibility to develop yourself further in modern technologies such as GraphQL and Google Cloud.
Know that the team likes to share their success and as a group they set out to the sun every year. There is the possibility to work at home for a maximum of 3 days, “as long as you get the right things done.”
What is required?
- 3+ years of professional JavaScript software engineering experience
- Professional experience with React and TypeScript
- A completed technical HBO or WO course is a plus
- Knowledge of NodeJS and PostgreSQL is an advantage
- Experience with GraphQL or GCP are pre’s
What is offered?
- Between € 50,000 and € 70,000 gross per year based on knowledge and added value
- A permanent contract right away!
