Your job: Senior Java Developer Zoetermeer
As Senior Java Developer Zoetermeer you will work within one of the multidisciplinary scrum teams to build various greenfield components of the system based on a cutting edge microservices architecture. You will get to implement concepts like FP, serverless, CI/CD, cloud and containerization. You will get to work on high volume, high performance and highly available platforms from design to deployment. All the while making sure code is clean and quality is high.
In your role as Senior Java Developer Zoetermeer you will acts as one of the technical evangelists of proper engineering best practices, you will act as liaison towards the PO and Technical Director and continuously look for innovative ways to add value within the organization. Furthermore you will help mentor medior developers to the next level. As the organization is expanding significantly you will have the chance to grow your career into principal level. What is required?
- 7+ years of java backend engineering experience, working on complex enterprise grade systems
- Strong core java, algorithm and data structure knowledge
- Solid experience building heavy load / high available systems
- A completed Beta MSc or similar working and thinking level
- Experience working in a microservices architecture
- Solid experience with agile development processes
- Familiar with modern SE best practices as TDD, CI/CD and Containerization
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a big plus
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes is a big plus
