This little powerhouse has been a big name in their domain for many years. For decades, innovative SaaS products (Ecommerce) have been able to build very tangible products for consumer goods that are all essential in our daily lives. The organization has entered an interesting transition phase. With new investments, it is now time to grow internationally and innovate the systems considerably. For this, both the back-end and the front-end will be heavily tackled.
The platform and applications are built within a Microservices environment that is migrated to a renewed Vue.js, Typescript (Vue3) front-end.
The organization is characterized by its friendly and informal character, but also with a lot of ambition. In recent years, a small group has grown as one of the market leaders within their discipline and now wants to continue this course internationally. With very skilled and operationally involved investors, a good step has already been taken in this direction last year. Now is the time to build everything.
Your role: Senior Front-end Developer Hilversum
In your role as Senior Front End Developer, you will work in a close team of technicians. Each and every one of them very skilled engineers and all of them are open, friendly, and helpful to teach you a lot.
As a Development team here you work in the full width of all scalable products. Setting up microservices (front end) and building new features in Vue3 using component driven development, CI/CD, CSS, SCSS. This way you will never be bored, you are involved in everything and you touch many technologies. As an experienced Front end developer, you can take charge of the entire Front end architecture and you get the chance to become a future Lead Front end (Hands-on) with a substantial investment in people. This company also has good growth opportunities!
What is being asked?
- At least 4 years of Front-end experience (preferably in production)
- Knowledge of VueJS and Typescript (framework-agnostic mindset)
- Knowledge of modern JS tools such as WebPack
- Experience with Unit testing, integration testing & TDD is a plus
- Wanting to take ownership and knowledge sharing, mentoring
