Your Role: Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Engineer – From A to Better, and From Zero to Something Big

When clients bring you in, it is never for “some cloud work.” They ask for your expertise when a critical step is needed: an on-prem landscape that must move to AWS, core system integrations that finally need to be reliable and scalable, or an existing cloud environment that must mature with automation, monitoring, and security.

Your job is to take clients from A to better. That might mean:

• Designing and executing a migration of business-critical applications into AWS

• Building an event-driven architecture with Kafka, service buses, and Lambdas for real-time, fault-tolerant processes

• Creating a cloud-native infrastructure with Kubernetes, containers, networking, and CI/CD pipelines that enable faster, safer releases

• Helping clients raise their security and compliance to a level that passes international audits with ease

And once you have done that, the second part begins: shaping the cloud capability inside the organization itself. This is your chance to help build a high-value consultancy unit from the ground up:

• Defining technical standards and reference architectures

• Shaping the offerings that go to market

• Choosing the technologies and tools that will set the direction

• Organizing knowledge sessions and trainings

• Deciding which conferences and events the team will attend to stay ahead

What You Bring

• 8+ years of professional experience

• Several years of deep AWS expertise

• Experience designing and migrating cloud infrastructure from on-prem to AWS

• Strong in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)

• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and scalable platforms

• Knowledge of CI/CD, observability, monitoring, logging, automation

• Awareness of security and compliance standards

• Consultancy mindset: communicative, client-oriented, pragmatic

• Entrepreneurial pioneer: energized by building, setting up, and sharing knowledge

What You Get

• Salary €95,928 – €115,200, depending on experience and impact

• Bonus up to 2 months → total package up to €130,200 per year
