Your role: Senior Java Backend Engineer Amsterdam

As Senior Java Backend Engineer Amsterdam, you will work on the core of this AI-powered platform. You’ll design and optimize scalable microservices with Java21, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services. Your focus will be on performance, scalability, and reliability—because millions of users rely on this system every day.

You’ll join a distributed, cross-functional team of software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Together, you design, build, and roll out new features globally. Think of accelerating analysis algorithms, setting up new data pipelines, or reducing latency in distributed systems.

As a senior, your role goes beyond coding: you’ll introduce coding standards, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers—creating impact on both the platform and the team.
