Your Role: Senior Backend Developer Amsterdam

As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll work within a specialized unit alongside passionate colleagues on long-term, impactful custom software projects for platforms with millions of users worldwide. You will develop high-quality backend solutions with Node, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs within scalable microservice and event-driven architectures.

You'll be involved from initial client discussions to final delivery, with ample room for innovation, technical decision-making, and guiding other developers. Each week, you'll also have dedicated R&D time to explore new technologies and trends.

What is required?

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with Node/TypeScript.
• Experience with GraphQL & REST APIs.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience with microservices & event-driven architectures.
• Experience with version control (Git) & package management (npm/yarn).
• Ability to take ownership and clearly communicate technical choices.
• You're a true team player.
• Capability and/or experience in guiding other developers technically.
• Strong communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive attitude.
• SPA Product mindset.
• Ecommerce experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch OR strong motivation to (quickly) master the language!

• Salary between €65.000 and €85.000 depending on knowledge and experience.
