You role: Senior Scala Developer Utrecht
Currently they have already made great steps building their product so far, gaining the attention of very big names interested in it. You as Senior Scala Developer Utrecht will join the product team responsible for building these kick ass product features based on Scala, Akka Streams, Kafka and ElasticSearch. All while sticking to the best practices in clean coding and reactive and functional programming. All of which they are big proponents of! As you can imagine what is key about these systems is scaling and latency, so you have your work cut out for you.

What is required?
- +5 years of professional software engineering experience, primary worked with a JVM language
- Professional experience with Scala, Akka and building distributed systems
- Strong vision on reactive and functional programming
- Technical MSc level is preferred
- Clean coding, agile mindset and quality product building attitude
- Experience with Kafka, Akka Streams and/or ElasticSearch is a plus
