As the new Senior Frontend Developer Amsterdam you will join the A-team of software engineering here in Amsterdam. Together with your team you will solve high (conceptual) level business-cases at within technically complex, capital rich environments here in Amsterdam, using JavaScript technologies such as React, VueJS, Angular and NodeJS. But on top of this also blockchain, artificial intelligence & machine learning and backend technologies. The critical nature of the software built makes Unit Testing, End2end testing and automated testing very important, as are solid architectures.

Many different projects are lined up and together with your team you choose which projects to work on. As the new Senior Frontend Developer Amsterdam you will learn about a variety of business cases and technologies, all in line with what you want to learn about. And on top of working on challenging cases, while working under the wings of inspiring engineering leaders, you will mentor 1 or 2 medior engineers and grow them into Senior engineers/better people.

What do we need from you?

4+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
A degree in computer science or similar is a big plus
Experience with modern JavaScript technologies like React, React Native, Preact, VueJS, Angular or NodeJS
Experience with Unit testing, End2end testing and/or automated testing are big plusses
Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery/Deployment is a big plus
Solid computer science skills and great architectural skills
You have an interest in applying technology to business cases
You are a proponent of agile principles and a real team worker
Experience with coaching/mentoring and code reviews is a big plus

From their site and reviews they looked like very professional recruiters and i was not wrong. I was looking for a role as a senior Scala developer in Amsterdam/Utrecht region.I was specifically looking to apply for one company through CodeGuild, but in the initial interview they also presented me with a couple of other options for companies which would be a good fit for me.They were very friendly, helpful and supportive, without being pushy. There was targeted help with prep for the interviews/assessments which was specific to each company, and they enabled me to give the best account for myself (definitely better than if I'd been preparing on my own).In the end I accepted an offer from one of the companies they presented me with instead of the original company I had in mind.
