Your job: Staff Software Engineer Amsterdam
As a Staff Software Engineer Amsterdam, you can build the foundation of this tech scale-up and then scale it up to millions of end users. The roadmap contains more than enough challenges, such as building cool features and migrating important services from monolith to microservices. The plan is to grow to 3 teams in 2023 and you can become the technical leader of 1 of the teams!
Also, the role of Golang is becoming more and more important as the load on the server increases. This includes possible technical challenges to introduce asynchronous data, event sourcing, and Kafka and you can have a crucial impact on this! You also get the freedom to implement new tech & innovations. As mentioned, no shortage of challenges!

What is required?
- 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Experience with Golang (or willingness to learn)
- Polyglot mindset and experience with at least 2 programming languages
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps
- Experience with architecture & design
- Experience with Cloud and Microservices
- A technical bachelor and/or master or a comparable level of thinking is a plus
- Experience leading a development team(s) is a plus
- Experience with Node.JS is a plus

- Experience introducing new technologies is a plus
