Your role: Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam
As Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam you will be part of a small but very experienced team of DevOps engineers, with the very interesting challenge of setting up and running the entire AWS cloud native infrastructure + SRE strategy. Your platform will act as a key innovation catalyst for the various dev teams, with 24/7 availability and uptime.
Some things that you can look forward to are defining, measuring, and monitoring service line objectives, professionalizing monitoring, moving to multiple AWS regions, adding more CI/CD automation, and setting up and running on-call while of course enabling teams to delivery easy and effortlessly (security, built to scale, resilient, cloud native, self-healing).

What is required?
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- Experience within mission critical AWS production environments
- Solid fundamental understanding of systems, networking, and storage
- Professional experience with SRE and System Engineering
- Solid understanding of the software development cycle
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with CI/CD automation and IaC (Terraform would be great!)
- Experience with setting up infrastructure and tooling from scratch and able to get people on board with your ideas
- Experience working directly with developers is a big plus
- Experience with Go or Python is a plus
What is offered?
- Between €90.000 and €110.000 gross per year depending on experience and added value
