Your role: Senior-Lead Scala Developer Amsterdam
As Senior-Lead Scala Developer Amsterdam you will have a technical leading role within one of their development teams. Mentoring, guiding, architecture, design, code quality, test/delivery automation and of course hands on coding! You will get to play a fundamental role in the further development of their product suite, with a lot of work still needed to be done and impact to be had!
Within this role there is room for you to work as a senior or lead scala developer, there is room for both! You will get to work on heavily distributed, real time systems that process hundreds of millions, if not billions of events per day! If you love to work with highly skilled Scala professionals you have come to the right place! You will get to work with some of the keenest minds within the functional programming world (contributors to the language) and together you are tasked to build their ambitious roadmap to conquer the global market!
What is required?
- 5+ years professional development experience
- A strong communicator
- Professional experience with Scala and stream processing
- Experience working within data driven companies is a big plus
- Experience with Akka (streams and/or Http) is a plus
- Experience with Kafka, NoSQL or ElasticSearch is a plus
- Experience with deploying to Kubernetes and running your own code in production is a big plus
