Your job: Senior Java Software Engineer Zoetermeer
As Senior Java Software Engineer Zoetermeer you will get to bite down on one of the various greenfield products that are currently developed. You will work in one of the multidisciplinary scrum teams, where you will build one of their new products, based on Java9, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes. These are long term projects that span multiple years, so you can make it high quality. Only deliver what you think is great. You and your team will get to work on high volume, high performance and highly available platforms from design to deployment. All the while making sure code is clean and quality is high.
As Senior Java Software Engineer Zoetermeer you also help mentor medior developers and will get the chance to grow into principal engineer. As one of the seniors you will furthermore get to contribute in keeping best practices high and contributing to an awesome engineering culture.
What is required?
- 5+ years of java backend engineering experience, working on complex enterprise grade systems
- Solid core java, data structure knowledge
- Solid experience building scalable systems
- A completed Beta MSc or similar working and thinking level
- Experience working in a microservices architecture
- Solid experience with agile development processes
- Familiar with modern SE best practices as TDD, CI/CD and Containerization
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a big plus
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes is a big plus
