Your role: Senior Java Software Engineer Amsterdam Intelligent Systems
In your role as Senior Java Software Engineer Amsterdam Intelligent Systems you will work on one of the various greenfield products that are being developed for the vast client base. Within your team you will take ownership of the software engineering part, making sure the platforms are highly scalable and reliable. You will be involved from the beginning stage of every project, so will also be able to have architectural influence. In the cockpit with you will be your smart data engineering and data science colleagues. So it’s going to be a cool ride!
To get the job done you can make use of technologies like Java9, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Kafka and some Python. As there is a lot of knowledge within the organization about these technologies. Of course it is not a must that you already know every one of these technologies, even spark can be picked up here. That is the great part: you can learn them all here! If you have ambition to become lead developer/architect. They also have that as an growth option!
What is required?
- 5+ years of java software engineering experience
- Experience building scalable systems (micro services, cloud, containerization)
- Fluent in English
- BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar working level
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with either Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB or Hbase would be a plus
- Experience with GraphDB solutions is a plus
- Experience with Java9, Kafka and/or Spark is a plus
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
