Your role: Senior Java Developer Amsterdam / Senior Java Backend Engineer Amsterdam
As Senior Java Developer Amsterdam you will get be part of a brand new Scrum team, to work on various greenfield challenges. As there is still a lot of both architectural work, feature development and software engineering upgrades that need to be done, you can really help make an impact. Every Scrum team is responsible for a separate service which processes very heavy loads and runs in the cloud.
Here you will work in a microservices architecture where you can sink your teeth into scalability and performance optimization challenges, architectural work, adding new microservices, building heavy load API’s, implementing advances Search with ElasticSearch and will even get to touch some data analytics work starting beginning of next year!
What is required?
- 5+ years of java software engineering experience
- Experience building heavy load systems
- An agile worker and good collaborator
- Good experience with core java: you can build technology and don’t “just” work with frameworks
- Experience working in a microservices architecture
- Experience with NoSQL solutions is a plus
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
- Experience with pipeline automation (DevOps) is a nice to have (although definitely not a large chunk of your daily job)
- Experience with Queuing technology is a nice to have
What is offered?
- Between € 60.000 and € 80.000 gross per year based on knowledge and added value
