Your new employer is a well-established organization with a mature software engineering environment, (re)building a complex software product from scratch. The software engineering culture is embedded in the DNA of the organization and results in an agile workflow with unit testing, test automation, CI/CD, clean coding and knowledge sharing being the standard. As the new Senior Front end Developer Amsterdam you will join at an exciting moment. Right now your new employer is in a transition and is building the entire product (already used multiple times a day by over a million consumer users) from scratch! So as the new Senior front end developer Amsterdam you can really help making an impact. A key task for you is together with UX specialists make sure the consumer user is fully analyzed and understood. And from there you as one of the Senior front end developers will translate the UX into a strong UI based on a fancy & new web-component architecture.

And this is your main challenge: Work together in an agile environment with a multidisciplinary team, understand different viewpoints and integrate this into a very complex web-component based front end architecture. For a Senior front end developer who enjoys working closely together with fellow techies and at the same time besides coding, wants to focus building smart architectures according to the latest frontend standards: This is a unique opportunity!

5+ years of professional front end development experience
3+ years of professional experience with OO JavaScript and Single Page Application frameworks

Experience with Redux + Webcomponents is a big plus
Experience with Webpack is a big plus
Experience with Cypress is a big plus

I was looking for a role as a senior Scala developer in Amsterdam/Utrecht region.I was specifically looking to apply for one company through CodeGuild, but in the initial interview they also presented me with a couple of other options for companies which would be a good fit for me.They were very friendly, helpful and supportive, without being pushy.
