As a Senior Backend Engineer Golang Amsterdam you join at exactly the best time! Here you will have the opportunity to work with several seniors with enormous experience in the field of image recognition and –processing, scalability, performance, availability, cloud-based systems and Golang, so that you can learn a lot from each other! You can also work together with a professional SRE team to support you with everything infrastructure/cloud related, so you are well taken care of from this side as well.

What is required?
- 5+ years of professional (backend) software development experience
- Strong High Quality Engineering mind-set: testing and clean coding is second nature to you
- Professional experience with Golang
- Experience working within a highly performant / distributed environment
- Experience with API design
- High quality product development / TDD mind-set
- A completed technical Bachelor or Master degree or demonstrated similar working level
- Experience with architecture and design is a plus
- Experience with GCP or Azure is a plus
- Experience with GRPC or Kubernetes is a plus
