This medium-sized tech company has been a leader in the development of mission critical E-Health solutions since its foundation, decades ago. In this way, they hold an important position in the healthcare chain that 90% of 1st-line care and all hospitals work with the products of this tech company.
This organization is responsible for several successful products and we continuously innovate and develop new products. An entirely new platform will be developed that will make a major contribution to the quicker recognition of disease symptoms and that the disease recognition theory will be greatly improved.
All this has resulted in you working here in a proud and ambitious work environment with a high software engineering standards. Here you will work with a modern tech stack with Scala, Akka, Docker, AWS, Postgres, Angular7, CQRS and Elasticsearch. Furthermore, there is a continuous delivery pipeline with which one goes to production every day. Is the code coverage high because of solid integration, end-to-end and unit tests. Your role: Scala Developer Maarssen
In your role as Scala Developer Maarssen you will work in one of the Scrum teams of this tech company. Each team is end-to-end responsible for their own product. You build it, you run it! You and your team of experienced Scala Developers are going to build a new product that will become a very important part of a mission critical chain within healthcare. The challenge here is that it is about a chain within the Dutch healthcare that has very complex processes, within a very complex domain. The challenge is to automate this with clean coding. Do you like complex puzzles, then you’ve come to the right place.

What is asked for?
- BSc or MSc Computer Science or comparable level
- Minimum 4 years professional Software Development experience
- Experience with Scala from your own project, professional or Coursera course
- Experience with Spray, Akka, Slick is a plus
- Experience with Camel, ActiveMQ, Json4s, Wiremock, Mockito and / or Scalatest is a plus
- Experience with Docker and / or CQRS is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL technology is a plus
- Experience with Logstash and/or Gatling is a plus
- Experience with Continuous delivery and deployment is a plus
- Experience with Automated Testing is a plus
