Your role: Scala Developer Maarssen
In your role as a Scala Developer you will work in one of the new self-managing scrum teams. This team is currently looking into the most interesting issues within the organization, the development of a new care platform for patients. A lot has to be done here, for example thinking about the architecture, Poc’s, integrations and building mainly back end features.
As Scala Developer Maarssen, a lot is invested in you. So it is not necessary that you already have professional experience with Scala. For example, Java experience is sufficient. Of course it is necessary that you would like to work with Scala on a professional level. This is a mindset that sees your software development as a craft. The technology you work with is then just a tool to achieve the best result.
What is asked for?
- From 4 years of professional experience with Java and / or Scala
- The will to work professionally with Scala
- A Bachelor or Master in Software Science or demonstrably comparable level of work
- Experience with Spray, Akka, Play and/or Slick is a plus
- Experience with Camel, ActiveMQ, Json4s, Wiremock, Mockito and/or Scalatest is a plus
- Experience with Git, Docker and / or Ansible
- Experience with NoSQL and / or Elasticsearch is a plus
- Experience with Logstash and / or Gatling is a pre
- Experience with Continuous delivery and deployment is a plus
- Experience with Automated Testing is a plus
