Your role: Principal Java Developer Amsterdam
As Principal Java Developer Amsterdam you have a leading role in the core innovation team, just like within the rest of the entire organization. Truly a role with impact! Your elite unit aims to investigate how new technologies can be implemented throughout the organization.
This means that you can always keep yourself up-to-date with the latest technology during office hours and can help roll it out within the organization if it has proven added value. Building PoCs, giving workshops, pair programming; anything to help facilitate the adoption of new standards and technology. This way you have a huge impact on the growth and results of this SaaS market leader!
Here you can also get involved in increasing the scalability of the many systems, building microservices, and further setting up Kubernetes. There are several teams, all with their own focus area!
What is required?
- Minimum of 8 years of professional development experience
- Experience with architecture and design
- Professional experience with Java8+
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with the transition from monolith to microservices
- Experience leading one or more teams + mentorship
- Experience with Spring Boot and Docker is a plus
- A completed Bachelor or Master is a plus
