Your role: Medior Scala Developer Utrecht
As the company is growing and different teams have been formed we are now looking for an hands-on Medior Scala Developer Utrecht. You will be working in one of the best feature teams around, working on lots of new features on the action-packed roadmap for the years to come. Next to this, there is a chance to be involved in architecture and design as they are continuously looking how to improve the performance of the systems.
As a Medior you will be also helping to keep code standards high and building innovative, scalable and very user friendly features you will furthermore bite down on the challenge to build the SAAS (AWS, GCP, Azure) version of their product and move it into the cloud. This is quite a challenge as the current architecture is quite complex and split into multiple services.

What is required?
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Professional experience with Scala and Akka (preferably steams)
- A hands on attitude + good communicator, pro-active nature and collaborative
- Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure or Private Cloud is a plus
- Experience with Kafka or ElasticSearch is a plus
- Experience building heavy load systems is a plus
- Experience with modern SE practices like CI/CD and Agile
