Your role: Medior Scala Developer Rijswijk
In your role Medior Scala Developer Amsterdam you will get to help scale up the product suite. You will be involved in architecture, design, new technology choices and helping to expand the various product lines. While keeping track of resilience, performance, and security at all times. You will get to help implement DDD further and help model their very complex domain. As a Medior Scala Developer, you will also get mentoring and guidance from very experienced backend developers in your team.
The development is Scala/Akka stack and as the company is scaling up you will also have the chance to contribute to building a great software engineering culture that adheres to the latest standards around craftsmanship.
What is required?
- Experience hands-on leading one or more development teams
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Professional development experience with Scala and Akka
- Experience working within a microservices architecture
- A quality mindset: (CI, proper testing, etc)
- Good communicator
- Experience with NoSQL is a big plus
- Experience with Cloud is a big plus
- Experience with Kafka is a big plus
- Experience with secure messaging, privacy or security by design is a big plus
