This technology company works on key systems that process data from hundreds of different sources and all have to be 24/7 available for crucial processes for our European infrastructure. Multiple backend oriented scrum teams, consisting out of Computer Science savvy engineers, work day in day out to build these systems. Your Job: Medior Java Software Engineer Hoofddorp
In your position as a Medior Java Software Engineer you will be part of one of the scrum teams. Together with your team members, you will be responsible to think of new ways and services to extract data for internal use as well as third parties, by building API’s to service all of the internal and external stakeholders. Next to this you will help to do complex integration work in this very complex high availability ecosystem.
This will give you the chance to be involved in both the technological as well as the functional aspects of your job. All whilst making this real time data accessible with your colleagues for the hundreds of consumer groups internally and externally.
What really makes this job worthwhile is the fact that you work on systems that are heavily used by millions of people per year. This makes your work highly visible, even though you get to fully focus on backend.
What is required?
- 2+ years professional experience with Java
- Preferably a Bachelor of Masters in Information technology, computer science or similar education
- Experience with building (REST) API’s would be a big plus
- Knowledge of Microservices, Docker, Cloud and/or Kubernetes would be a plus
- Experience with CI/CD is a bonus
