Your job: Lead Java Software Engineer Haarlem
As Lead Java Software Engineer Haarlem you will have a big impact and responsibility. Both within the fast- growing organisation as in the Dutch landscape, building an effective solution for hundreds of thousands of employees. This solution will enable them to do their work better, faster and reduce human error to zero. And on top of it all, this solution will make it possible to analyze data and change the companies into datamining companies.
Currently, the organisation is building a highly distributed system based on microservices in which scalability, high performance and security are key principles. As Lead, it is your job to help building these fundamental principles. Together with the CTO, you will be making important decisions on the architecture, the coding standards, the stack and best practices. You will be responsible of leading a multidiscplinary team of intelligent, passionate colleagues. Furthermore, you will be involved in the future hiring process and choose the best mediors and seniors to work with in the future. In the meanwhile, you keep an eye on new technologies and makes these your own if they can improve the platform.
What is required?
- 7+ years of experience with Java Software Engineering
- Experience with building highly performant and/or scalable systems
- MSc Information Technology (or similar)
- Excellent Data Structure knowledge
- Excellent communicative skills
- Experience with Microservices is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL is a plus
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Experience with functional programming languages such as Scala is a plus
- Experience with C/C++, C# is a plus
- Experience with Continuous Intregration/ Continuous Develivery is a plus
- Experience with RabbitMQ is a plus
- Experience with Linus is a plus
What is offered?
