Your role: Lead Java Developer Utrecht AWS
In your role as Lead Java Developer Utrecht AWS you will become technical leader of one of the agile teams. You are the person who, from start to finish, is technically in charge of what is being built, of architecture, tech stack, team composition, delivery and further development.
You come here to work in a highly data-driven environment. Large quantities of data from all over the world must be processed and presented in real time in one of the many products. These are all Native Cloud solutions. You will also find a lot of complex issues, big data, high performance & availability and scalability in a Cloud environment.
You come here as Lead Java Developer Utrecht AWS at the right time at the organization. Connecting now means having great impact within a highly successful technology company that will give the software engineering department a completely new shape. You will have an active contribution in building a team. Building prototypes and POCs to rebuild existing successful products, further professionalising the AWS environment. All of this with the aim of getting even more value from the data that 100 and millions of people around the world depend heavily on in different sectors.
What is asked for?
- A minimum of 6 years of professional Java Software Engineering Experience
- Experience with technical leadership as lead engineer or Senior in a project
- Experience with the role of Scrum Master is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Amazon web services tools such as S3, EC2, EBS, Lambda and Elastic Beanstalk
- Experience with a Microservices architecture is a plus
- Experience with Docker and / or Spring Boot is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL such as Cassandra and Elasticsearch is a plus
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment is a plus
- Experience with TDD and unit testing
