As the new Lead full stack JavaScript developer Amsterdam you will have a lot of freedom to fill in the position as you see fit: In the first place you will be a technical leader, helping to optimize and expand a platform built with NodeJS, React and ElasticSearch with increased Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence integrations and a focus on scalability to cope with an increasing demand. On top of this you will help implementing blockchain solutions (no previous knowledge needed) and think along to implement more innovation and introduce new technologies.

Your second mission as Lead full stack JavaScript developer Amsterdam is building a world-class team and implementing agile principles throughout the teams. Your role will be focused on team harmony, coaching and mentoring. The great opportunity is that here you can grow your technical leader skills and grow to become the new head of R&D: Leading the software engineering team, mobile dev team and the QA team. What do we need from you?

5+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
Experience with NodeJS is a huge plus
Experience with modern JS technologies like React or VueJS is a big plus
Experience with ElasticSearch is a big plus
Experience with coaching, mentoring & code reviews is a plus
Experience with microservices is a plus
Experience with MongoDB and MySQL is a plus
Experience with test automation, unit testing and/or end2end testing is a plus
Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment is a plus
Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is a plus
Experience with Scrum is a big plus

From their site and reviews they looked like very professional recruiters and i was not wrong. In about 2 weeks i had a couple interviews at a variety of big tech companies and got a good offer pretty soon thereafter.They guided, prepared me for the interviews and helped with the final negotiations. I was looking for a role as a senior Scala developer in Amsterdam/Utrecht region.I was specifically looking to apply for one company through CodeGuild, but in the initial interview they also presented me with a couple of other options for companies which would be a good fit for me.They were very friendly, helpful and supportive, without being pushy. There was targeted help with prep for the interviews/assessments which was specific to each company, and they enabled me to give the best account for myself (definitely better than if I'd been preparing on my own).In the end I accepted an offer from one of the companies they presented me with instead of the original company I had in mind. It's an exciting challenge I'm looking forward to starting, and I never would have heard of the opportunity without CodeGuild.Can wholeheartedly recommend!
