Your role: Lead Backend Developer Java / Kotlin Amsterdam
In your role as Lead Backend Developer Java / Kotlin Amsterdam you will lead one of the core backend teams of the organization. You and your team will work on data heavy and scalable systems that make it possible to create better care and thus have a direct impact on saving lives around the world.
In addition to helping the team build hands-on, you will also be involved in the design of new functionalities. This way you have a lot of influence on the technical course. You are also coach and mentor of your team. You ensure that people develop further, that the code quality remains high and that there is a good atmosphere in your team.
Growth opportunities
The organization is growing rapidly and the number of teams is expected to triple or quadruple next year. It is therefore possible to grow as a Lead Backend Developer as a Lead across multiple teams.
What is being asked?
- At least a completed Bachelor in Science or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience within the JVM
- 1 year of experience in the role of Lead developer or tech lead in project
- Experience with Java8 + and Spring Boot
- Experience with Kotlin is a plus
- Experience with Microservices and/or Serverless Cloud environments
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Experience with Docker and / or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with building REST services
- Experience with CI / CD is a plus
