In this exciting age of blockchain, the time to join this scale-up is now! With a multidisciplinary team of leading engineers with backgrounds in Blockchain, Mathematics, Backend engineering (NodeJS, Golang) and Frontend engineering (switching now from AngularJS to Angular 4), here the world of blockchain is conquered.

The roadmap for frontend is exciting with a combination of large scale and complex projects ahead. The first step is to refactor everything from AngularJS to Angular 4. From there the complete frontend will be revised and leveled-up, in order to handle the increase of daily users into the tens of millions! And due to increased competition in the market, the frontend has to be world-class. Many new features will be designed and built (from scratch) and because you are working on a very high traffic blockchain product with an extremely complex backend, you will work in close collaboration with the backend engineering team.

For the new JavaScript Frontend Developer Angular 4 this entails a very challenging environment and a lot of greenfield development. On top of this, true engineering principles are important and solid frontend architectures, a TDD environment, unit testing, e2e testing and CI/CD are the norm. What do we need from you?

2+ years of professional JavaScript Frontend development experience
Experience with AngularJS or Angular 2, 4 (or 5?) is a big plus!
Experience with other JavaScript technologies like React, VueJS or NodeJS is a plus
Solid computer science background (through education or self-development)
Experience with setting up solid frontend architectures is a big plus
A natural drive to learn new technologies
An interest in the Blockchain, Bitcoin, or Cryptocurrency domain (on a conceptual level) is a plus
Experience with TDD, BDD, Unit Testing, Automated Testing, End2End Testing are plusses
Experience with continuous integration & delivery/deployment is a plus

I was looking for a role as a senior Scala developer in Amsterdam/Utrecht region.I was specifically looking to apply for one company through CodeGuild, but in the initial interview they also presented me with a couple of other options for companies which would be a good fit for me.They were very friendly, helpful and supportive, without being pushy. There was targeted help with prep for the interviews/assessments which was specific to each company, and they enabled me to give the best account for myself (definitely better than if I'd been preparing on my own).In the end I accepted an offer from one of the companies they presented me with instead of the original company I had in mind.
