Your role: Java Software Engineer Utrecht greenfield
As Java Software Engineer Utrecht greenfield you will work in house on their latest flagship product, that is about to go into production not far from now. So, joining them now means building their flagship product from scratch! This pure greenfield project is in a very early stage, so you can really help to build this new product from Scratch.
Their production pipeline is also set up based on modern standard in the word of true craftsmanship. So their pipeline is based on continuous integration delivery and even deployment if possible. They work test driven (TDD) and are set up based on the Spotify model.
Your colleagues are smart and very intelligent craftsman. So a sparring sessions is really something you can do day in day out. As Java Software Engineer Utrecht greenfield you will be part of an international community of engineers, with colleagues in the USA and UK. So, working closely and even company trips abroad are part of the job.
What is required?
- A minimum of 2 years of professional Java software Engineering experience
- Experience with Java8 is a plus
experience with Akka and/or Play is a plus - Experience with distributed computing and systems is a big plus
- Experience With REST, Micro services and/or Docker is a plus
- Experience with other languages like Scala, Go, Python, Clojure and Haskell is a plus
- Communicative and a team player
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software Science or Informatics or similar studies
- Experience with Scrum, Continuous Integration and delivery and TDD is a plus
- Experience with Jenkins is a plus
- Experience with Git is a plus
- Experience with Big Data or NoSQL technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra are plusses
What is offered?
- Salary between € 42.500 and € 60.000 gross a year
