Your job: Go Developer Amsterdam
As a Go Developer Amsterdam you will work in an autonomous, experienced, flat and agile team that is attuned to each other and where knowledge sharing is of paramount importance. Technical challenges you can bite into include transitioning to a new architecture and cleaning and refactoring the codebase so it can run better on Kubernetes! This is very important to be able to achieve the immense growth targets.
And the great thing is, you don’t need to have professional experience with Go yet, but you can learn it from the most experienced Go developers here! Also, there is a very interesting image processing project in the pipeline, so for you an opportunity to gain AI-related knowledge. Besides this project, there are more than enough innovation opportunities in this team that continuously improves and has the financial strength of a company that positively influences 200 million people every day!
What is required?
- 5+ years of professional (backend) software development experience
- Engineering mindset: testing and clean coding is second nature to you
- Solid knowledge of SQL databases and networking
- Experience within a cloud environment
- Professional experience with Go is a big plus
- A completed technical Bachelor or Master degree is highly appreciated
- Experience with architecture and design is a plus
- Experience with GCP or Azure is a plus
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with automating CI/CD pipelines is a plus
