Your role: Front End Developer Amsterdam Area
You as Front End Developer Amsterdam Area will join the company with the perfect timing to make huge impact for the JavaScript discipline! You will get to have a leading role in all things JavaScript, helping with architecture, design, coding standards, mentoring and thinking up new product extensions with the team. Here you can really help make an impact in a medium sized technology company!
They have laid the foundation but there is still load to do with React, Node, Typescript, Webpack, the Atlassian stack, Mocha & Karma. Although they are also looking to move into the cloud, improve performance, implement containerization and further automate their delivery cycle. It would be great if you could help them with some or all of these topics. They uphold a high code quality with unit & integration testing and have CI implemented with bamboo and docker.
There is a start-up feel with a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of room for fun and jokes. You will see that colleagues treat each other with great respect. They uphold a high level of autonomy in function and there room for input on areas where your skills and interests can benefit the company in other areas than just software engineering.
What is required?
- A minimum of 3+ year experience with professional javascript engineering
- Professional experience with React is a big plus, willing to learn/work with it is a must
- Professional experience with Typescript is a big plus, willing to learn/work with it is a must
- Professional experience with other SPA frameworks like Angular, React or VueJS
- A finished Bachelor of Master in Computer Sciences or similar is highly valued
- Experience with Agile (Scrum, Code Reviews etc.) is a big plus
- Experience with test standards (Unit Testing, Automated Testing, TDD, BDD) is a big plus
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and process automation is a big plus
